The 12th International Conference on Environmental Science and Technology, like the previous ones, maintains and upgrades the synthetic and integrated approach towards protection and upgrading of the environment, by bringing together engineers, scientists, students, managers and other professionals from different countries, involved in various aspects of environmental science and technology. This synthetic approach, in combination with the integration of environmental issues with economic and social aspects, is a prerequisite for adopting sustainable solutions to the numerous contemporary environmental problems.
